This item is an EAPG OPAQUE PURPLE SLAG GLASS  "LEAF PANELED"  LARGE ROUND DEEP SERVING BOWL.   This Early American Pattern Glass purple slag glass bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass;  This opaque purple slag glass "LEAF PANELED" large deep serving bowl that I have here is just the way this beauty left the glass factory many years ago, this serving bowl is in excellent condition having no chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining, there is very light surface wear on the bottom from being moved around by the many owners of this beauty;   I may add that this

This "LEAF PANELED" large round deep master serving bowl that I have here does have those Early American Pattern Glass characteristics of the glass produced during this era of the glass making process having stress lines in the glass, straw marks in the glass, and air bubbles inside the glass, these characteristics are from the production of this beautiful "LEAF PANELED" large round deep master serving bowl and is NOT considered damage, any questions please e-mail me;   I myself do not find very much EARLY purple slag opaque glass, this beautiful bowl that I have here is NOT marked in any way, and how all these points around the top of this heirloom bowl has survived all through these many years of survival is a miracle, I've located a photo of this pattern bowl in the "BELKNAP" "MILK GLASS" hard back book in the purple opaque slag glass section in this book on page #320;
