Sowerby Square Footed Match Holder or Vase/Flower Pot Blue Slag

Description

Sowerby Light Blue Slag Glass. This may be used as a vase or it may be a match holder and the stippled sides would be used to strike the matches.
There are straw lines and imperfections associated with antique slag glass. The top looks as if it simply came out of the mold crudely.  There may be a minor actual nick but I would say in my opinion all potential issues with this piece are maker defects.  Beautiful, unique color.
Approx. 4 and 1/8 inches tall and 3 inch Square.
